battery problem after replacing SSD MB PRO late 2012

Hi,

I replaced my SSD with a Jetdrive 720 SSD very carefully, following instructions.

Everything seems to work fine except for the battery.

Magsafe shows solid green light, but is not charging.

When I remove it my macbook shuts down immediately and powers up by itself when I plug it back in.

I have tried PRAM and SMC reset several times, not sure if the latter worked. (Magsafe light solid green, not changing)

SSD firmware is up to date. Verify disk reports no problem.

I have performed an extended hardware test which reported no problem.

(I'm assuming a logic board problem would have been reported, had I damaged the logic board during the process?)

What could I have done wrong? Is there anything I could try without having the battery replaced?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Christine

Update, just in case someone experiences the same thing: I repeated the entire process, unplugged the SSD and plugged it back in (apparently more thoroughly this time) and everything went back to normal.
