Three keyboard keys don't work now

After I successfully followed the guide to replace the IPAD 3rd generation's LCD and display panel everything worked great except the keyboard. When I try to type the keys Q, A, and Shift they do not respond. All other keys and everything else works great. It seems that the digitizer just does not respond to touch where those three keys are.

Anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

If you rotate the iPad display do the keys work? If you try to drag an icon on the screen, do those locations prevent you from dragging it?

This was it, "1- Touch screen cable needs reseating => try reseating." Thank you Rany!

Chosen Solution

3 common issues:

1- Touch screen cable needs reseating => try reseating

2- Touch screen cable defective or damaged during installation (pinched or torn); or touch screen itself came defective => try new known good digitizer;

3- Touch screen connector(s) on the board are damaged, could be visible or hard to see damage. Try faulty screen on different iPad to make sure, AFTER having ruled out 1 and 2.
