Why do I not get a signal?

I cannot get a signal on my phone (Note 3 SM-N900) in most areas, but i can on any other device. Could it be an antenna? Is there one other than the wire?Where would it be located? I saw once that it might be in the battery???

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

There is no antenna in the battery of your phone. Do not attempt to disassemble your battery if you do not know how it works; it would likely end poorly.

Poor signal could be due to the building you are in, and/ or the coverage of your carrier. Who is your carrier? Have you attempted to look at their coverage map to see if the problem lies in the coverage?

I have same issue but its only a recent problem to a known working area. phone no longer gets cell service, so i swap my sim to my zenfone and it works... its almost as if the note's antenna quit. but who knows, its an at&t usb board.
