Only half the Ipad2 16gb screen is responsive to touching

I pushed too hard on an already cracked screen. It fractured a bit more and now only the bottom half responds to touch. (That's holding the pad with the volume toggle on the top left) any clues out there?!

Replace the digitiser, that's the issue.
