My phone won't turn on

I have an IPhone 4 and it was working perfectly fine, as I went to look at it again it was off and wouldn't come back on. It was charged to about 40% so wasn't a dead battery. I tried to charge it but didn't work. People have told me to reset it but my lock button is broke. What do I do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Open iPhone and carefully disconnect battery for a minute. Then reconnect battery. To turn ON, connect to charger or computer. If still problem, consider replacing battery.
