Why can't I start it after getting a new battery?

Hello.

I got a A1286 (last 3 letters of sn are AGU).

The battery was exploding inside the aluminium case, getting bigger and bigger. It even cracked the mouse pad. One day it stop working. Before it still booted one last time on safe mode but after restarting never came to life again. I ordered a new battery and swaped it. To my surprise, the computer doesn't start, the battery indicator says nothing as well. And the green light of the charger is so dimmed that i could hardly notice it was on. I've tried the "10 seconds approach", nothing. Can anyone tell me what can i do?

Options

Battery pins got bent when replacing battery and 12v from battery shorted to the SMC data line. Check the pins in the battery connector, if they are bent, this is probably toast. :(

No pin seems bent... I was reading about shorting the board. With a screwdriver i touched the board for reactions. Then it sparkled (nearby the power plug). The computer was not working before and it didn't work after. But i fear i fried something...
