Replaced the screen, but now the microphone and speakers don't work.

I replaced a cracked screen on an iPhone 5. I used the complete assembly available from iFixit (screen, home button, and camera). Everything seemed to go OK, but now the speaker and microphone are not working.

Hi,

I take it you are talking about the earpiece speaker and front microphone?

If so, just get them to send you out another, as they are more than likely faulty. :)

Unfortunately, I am referring to the speaker and mike below the home button. Thanks for prompting me to clarify!

Ok, you will have to replace the bottom speaker, and the charging port, as the bottom microphone is attached to he barging port. :)
