Hi, I am not sure of the name of the part, but the connecting dock, at the bottom of the ipod, in which you insert the ipod cable to charge it or connect it to itunes, is broken... It s like a large plastic plate with tiny metal lines crossway. One or two of these metal things are broken/missing.
Can it be replaced ??? by itself or included in a bigger replacement action ?

Festool, that part is soldered to the logic board. It can be replaced if you have the capabilities of microsoldering. Otherwise you will have to replace the complete logic board.
