How to replace the mirror in my Nikon D5100.
I need to replace the mirror, (which has fallen out).
I have a mirror box assembly, but I am wondering if the mirror can be replaced on it's own.
Is this a good question?

I managed to remove the mirror from the new mirror box and glue it in place of the old missing one.
Care must be taken as there is a mask underneath the mirror that must also be replaced.
But I am having problems now with the display not working.

The 40 pin connector seems to be the problem, it doesn't look like it's connected properly.
