you most likely have a bad connector pin inside the phone. I would need to know much more before diagnosing further.

my bet is that you have a blown out backlight on the phone. there are 2 filters for the backlight - one for each side of the phone. the fact that you have a "half black" phone tells me that one of the filters is blown.

my phone started giving me the same problem about two months after purchase,Brought it back and the store owner tells me that i dropped the phone.This phone has a serious manufacturing problem.
True my phone doing same and more and it new just buy it a blue 7.011
My phone does not connect to internet and the talk setting is causing it not to function properly. The menus do not react on instant touch.

hi my phone screen is like half black and half screen thats you can see
and its hard see thats well
