The housing for my keyboard ribbon on the logic board has snapped in half. With that, my keyboard functions, but will not light up or anything. I am wondering a work around to fixing this without a new logic board.

I found out that, yes this doesn't need to be in tact, as long as you make sure the connections are there, then a piece of sticky foam is placed on the housing will help secure it, leave it unhurt, and keep the connection.
