iPod classic 30 GB parts

Will certain parts of the 80, 120, 160 GB ipods also work for the older 30GB iPod Classic?

Specifically:

1) the Headphone Jack & Hold Switch Replacement and

2) Click Wheel Button?

If yes, which Headphone jack - thick or thin?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Cam, the 30GB is most likely a 5th gen Video (often mistakenly referred to as Classic. Yes other parts from a higher GB 5th gen will interchange, but not from a Classic (6th/7th gen). The two items you are inquiring about, do interchange within the same model.
