Hung up on blue screen

Hello,

My laptop wasn't connecting to wireless, replaced the airport card, that didn't help, so I ordered the cable, however in the meantime it stopped working entirely.

It hung up on the gray start-up screen, when I tried resetting PRAM or 'restore' it went to a bright blue screen.

Any advice would be appreciated!
