Starts to boot, no backlight, keyboard light, or logo light.

Hey all,

I have a Mid 2012 13" MBP that had some water damage. I replaced the upper case to get the keyboard working and the system worked fine for some time.

Now, it will boot (I hear the apple chime) the system will start up but there's no backlight, logo light, or keyboard light. I can tell the system is up because I can flash a light on the screen and see text (with a CMD+S single user boot).

However, the machine turns off if I try and continue into OS X.

I've heard water damage can cause fuses to blow on the mainboard. Any suggestions of places to check?
