Why is there no light?

I recently replaced my digitizer on my sons ipad 4. All went smoothly but when reconnected the LCD worked but not the digitizer. Whilst still on I unplugged and re plugged all cables. Now nothing the LCD is black. I have tried a new LCD screen but it is still black. What do I try next?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Just plugged it in to the computer to do a backup before I fiddled any more.

I then found the following instructions on the net. When I did it not plugged in to the computer it didn't work but tried again whilst plugged in and it worked. )except for the torch part)

It is necessary to unplug and remove the LCD when changing the screen, try to avoid removing while the iPad is on. It's almost impossible tho not to hit the button lol.

So what happens when you unplug while on is it messes up the backlight and when you power back on you freak out...but don't freak out!

Get a flashlight or hold under a light and

1. Enter password to get in(this is a pain if you have password enabled, if not go to next step)

2. Hold top button and swipe to power off.

3. Hold top button to power on

4. Voila!
