I replaced the broken digitizer onmy iPad 3 with cellular data. I also replaced the battery, and left cellular antenna that I damaged removing the broken digitizer. After reassembly and power up, the new digitizer is un-responsive. The screen is blinking, and it keeps saying " screen lock, muted, ". I adjusted the volume to check for pinched keys, I disassembled and checked ribbon connectors. I don't know why, but it's freaking out man.

Blow the digitizer connector port on the logic board so that any foreign stuff gone inside will be out. Or check with a magnifying glass if you can notice any. Check if you are securing digitizer latches properly or you broke them off. Sometimes just the screen comes bad multiple times. Do not freak out as EyeSpyInc mentions. Most of the time either the screen came with dead digitizer or the connector latch is not secured. Hope it helps.

Yeah, I've had glass shards in the connector cause the pins to get bent out of shape when inserting the digitizer FPC. Was fortunately able to bend them back without issue, in that particular instance.
