Replaced digitizer works for few days then nothing

I have replaced the screen of my iPad 3 A1430. This is the 2nd screen as the first one didn't work at all. This new one worked great for a couple of days I then noticed the screen has lifted up a bit so added a little heat from hairdryer, moving it round all the time. It has not stopped responding to touch. I have taken apart and put back together but no response. Any help would be appreciated

Options

Make sure that the cable isn't getting pinched between the glass and aluminum chassis. Also inspect the connectors where the digitizer cable plugs into the logic board and make sure the connector tabs are flipped down all the way and there is no damage. It is a tight squeeze getting the cable in and out of there.
