I smashed my iphone 5s so that the screen and the frame are now bent, i was thinking of buying a cloud locked phone and replacing the logic board with my phones.
Will a 16gb logic board fit in a 32gb/64gb phone?
When i turn my phone on will i have my old phone back just in a different case?

Yes, will fit and yes you are gonna have your old phone back in different case. But remember, IMEI will be different on back of the case and your motherboard.

Would the IMEI number pose a problem at all or would i simply have to remember that my phone is actually running on my old phone IMEI number
If you would want to sell your phone, maybe new owner would notice that and would not buy. But if you are gonna use by yourself then answer is no.
