MacBook fell,screen is unreadable ,

macbook fell a distance of 1 meeter .can see 25 percent of the screen .what can I do ? No visible crack from the outside.

Chances are you dislodged the LVDS cable. What kind of Macbook do you have? Need a little more info. in order to give you more information. It could be a loose LVDS cable or you might have damaged the display. Have you tried connecting to an external monitor, just to rule out a more serious problem?

Not sure if you have a core duo or core 2 duo, or if the guides differ for that matter. But, I would remove the topcase and check the connector under the sata Optical drive connector, which is the LVDS connector and make sure its properly seated. Thats the first step. Get back to us when your done checking that out.

It's the only mac I have at home the rest are PC.Can I hook it to a PC, I feel so stupid asking this question . Can't tell what kind of macbook cause there's no info on the machine.I can still see the apple on the side and click on it , can it help?
