Which screwdriver size do I need?

I noticed it was a phillips 00 screwdriver that is recommended. But I am trying to follow this guide and I can't seem to unscrew the screws from the fans from the logic board. I get up to step 8. I was wondering if you experience tight screws too. They don't move at all and I feel like I am stripping them.
