The mac mini turn pink color screen and won't go away.

My 2006 mac mini cpu upgrade to T7600 and run 2.33 Ghz. One day I connected an external hard drive with 10.4.6 Tiger and tried to boot from this unit and it won't boot. But my screen turn pink color ever since. I try reset the SMC and no use. Any help. Thanks.

Did you try a second display? If that didn't alter things I would suspect the GPU is in trouble. Unlike the CPU in this series the GPU is soldered to the logic board.

You could try cleaning off the old thermal paste on the GPU heat sink and refresh it. Otherwise its time of a new logic board. Sorry ;-{
