My power port is loose can this be fixed

Every time i plug in my ipad it give me a message saying that this accesory may not work witht the ipad even though iv used it t charge it many times before

Have you tried a different cable? YOu should also check the dock connector and the end of the cable for any damage , dirt or corrosion.
