ghost touch, jumps after digitizer repair

I just replaced the digitizer of my ipad 2. After putting the digitizer back, the ipad keeps jumping as if it is receiving touches. I have tucked the digitizer cable in the gap, still no result.

I saw other posts about similar problem but solution seem to be ipad mini specific. Please help.

Options

Make sure that the cable is plugged into the logic board properly and that the clips on the connectors are closed properly. Other than that it may be a faulty digitizer.
