Will a 2011 MacBook Pro logic board work in a 2009 Model?

I have a 2009 17" Macbook Pro and I was wondering if a logic board from a 2011 17" Macbook Pro would work and be compatible in the 2009 Macbook Pro. Can this replacement technically be done?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The model number for the 2009 is A1297. The model number for the 2011 is a1297. Since they are the same, should the logic boards be interchangeable?

Thanks,

No. Wifi is different, bluetooth is different, battery is different(12v vs 8 or 6v on the older 17"), trackpad is different, webcam is different. I am sure a bunch more is also different, this is just what I know to be different off the top of my head at midnight after 14 hours of work. I am sure there is more.

Also keep in mind the 2011 board will come with a dead GPU, or GPU will die on it a month after you buy it.

Do not do this, it will end badly. :(
