Is it possible to jump the FL7500 filter next to the battery?

Filter seems to be in place. Just curious if jumping it will cause any damage. Problem on iPad is the typical not charging one. Would really appreciate a response. Thanks.

Options

According to the schematic it does not connect to ground, so it should be possible. My suggestion is always to replace the parts to avoid second guessing in case it does not fix the symptoms.

Thanks for the help. I'll try it out on a locked board before a good one. I agree with replacing the part, but can't do it with my current setup. Still learning and these minis are problematic.
