mi4 warranty globally, across counties

Hi,

I brought a MI4 device from Malaysian online portal delivered in Kaulalampur. I have travelled to India and am using it there. Recently my MI4 device has some problem, I would like to know the warranty still applicable in India or not? for repair do I need to carry the phone to Malaysis for the warranty? 1 year warranty is there and still it is under that period only. Please suggest.
