What to do about slight corrosion from water damage?

I very recently had some water spill on my MacBook while it was in sleep mode. When I opened it up the screen didn't come on, so I tried turning on the computer again. The start up sound came on but the screen stayed black.

When I noticed it was wet I opened it up and took it apart to inspect the damage.

The only damage I could find is the small amount of corrosion shown in the pictures.

Also, I noticed some discoloration on the IO board (also shown in pictures)

My question is, what would be the cheapest course of action?

Ok so an update:

I completely cleaned the board with iso alcohol, dried it with a blow drier for a while and put everything back together.

The computer turned on just fine but the backlight isn't working. Output to an external monitor works via hdmi and only one of the thunderbolt ports. Everything else is running perfectly.

When I took another look at the logic board to try to see whats wrong I found that the corroded fuse (or capacitor, I'm not sure what it is) in the second picture is discolored and has one end unattached. I'm guessing this is whats causing the backlight problem. How much should I expect to pay to get this fixed?

Also, I'm fine with only having one working thunderbolt port but would there be any risk in leaving behind the possible corrosion that might be causing this port to fail?
