Will my phone eventually die because of the white around the edges

I replaced my iPhone 4S screen at the Skinz place in November and my phone is developing white around the edges. I was wondering if it could be from dropping my phone and if my iPhone would eventually die because of this.

Options

Light leakage like this is a sign of a defective screen. Take it back to where you got it and complain -- it's unlikely that dropping it caused this -- if you didn't drop it hard enough to shatter the screen, then this light leak shouldn't be happening.

Now that I see the picture, this is not a normal light leak. Something else is going on. Are those cracks in a screen protector, or in the actual screen?
