Power failure and digitiser sensitivity

Okay, hopefully you can advise.

Getting a device in that's had a previous screen replacement and the second time around this was because the digitiser was causing phantom contact during calls. The last screen replacement I did I teste with no phantom touches but client is reporting it again.

Additionally the device had reportedly lost charge and is no longer booting past apple logo, with numerous lines (yet to see this myself) across the screen.

Any ideas? Possible solutions?

Thanks in advance

Will

Bad connector on the logic board. Check the contacts on the digitizer connector on the logic board

Thanks oldturkey ill check it out. If they are bad, could this damage have been caused during repair? I'll also recheck seating of flex as the digitiser flex is always the trickiest for me

Ghost (Phantom) touching is often a problem with cheap replacement screens. It's caused by too-thin glass that sags and touches the digitizer to the LCD, which of course registers as a touch. The cure is to take it back to whoever sold it to you and ask for a less crappy one.
