Replaced digitizer, ipad 2 wifi does not work well

I tried to replace by digitizer for my ipad 2 wifi. It went on almost fine. On connecting the digitizer, the wifi is having issues. Weak signal. Says wrong password and works only when close to the router.

Please check the image. I must have broken this cable. Note that the wire is still attached but a small strand only.

No, if want your wifi back,you'll need to replace it.

That is the wifi antenna, replace that and you should be fine.
