Just had my ice maker in my kenmore fridge break down as well...ordered the replacement off of amazon instead of some of the other parts sites. I didn't get any instructions, but the part installed and began working within the first 15-20 minutes.

Amazon has a couple models, you'll have to see which one most closely resembles your current one. They're prices are far lower.

Hi, I pulled your parts diagram. The auger motor, which is located in the freezer door dispenser area is most likely your problem. I've replaced these in the past. Some of these refrigerator ice dispenser motors get moisture in them and fail to work properly. If you call a professional to do this you may be looking at $200-250 range.
