Can I plug my USA ps3 up in france, which is 220v?

I have a PS3 CECHH01. I'm on vacation for 2 months and brought my ps3. In USA we use 120v,in gran e it is 220v. Is it safe to plug in without a power converter, as I am not close to a place to buy one

judd, the PS3 uses a universal power supply. AC IN: 100V-240V 4.8-2.0A 50/60Hz DC Out: +5V : 3A +12V : 32A So all you have to get is the proper power cable to fit the electrical outlet. Hope this helps, good luck.
