Removing the fan blade of the MacBook Pro 2011.

Lately, the fan of my macbook pro started to make noises but only occasionally, especially after tilting it. I then disassemble the fan and clean it, reassemble it but the noise will still pop up.

I figure the problem is near the motor of the fan which I was unable to clean because I have no idea how to pry off the fan blade from the axle. I peel off the sticker behind the fan and it has a golden bolt.

Fans wear out -- the noise you are hearing is the bearing, and it is not user-serviceable. Fortunately, fans can be purchased at a reasonably low cost, and are pretty quick and easy to replace.
