Battery is not charging.
My macbook is not charging its battery. last night i opened my macbook up (out of warranty anyways) to repair the hinges (it was ccreaking really loud). DUrign the process of fixing everything i dropped a screw near the magsafe board so i had to take that off (well unscrew it) to get the screw out. I did push the magsafe in under the logic board just a lil bit. not a lot. and might have tugged on a wire when i tried to use needle nose pliers to get the screw out. so yea. i took it to apple store and found out it will cost 300 or 600 bucks to repair (they dont noe the problem) which i believe is way too much for repairs.
In addition, the magsafe charger does not light up but the battery indicator light on the macbook say either Charged or not charged. when i use the macbook on battery, it will drop down to like 95 percent then i charge it and it will say not charged but later, i check it says 100 percent charged. but when i unplug it it might or might not go down.
did i damage the logic board or the magsafe board? or is it some other problem? anyway to fix it inexpensively? i just bought this macbook off of ebay for college and now i effed my life T_T
Is this a good question?
