Why is my Flash LED lit and not turning off?

The flash led stays lit. How ever when using the flash in camera mode, the flash works normally with a brighter flash. Then goes back to the led staying lit at a lower light level. I have done a hard reboot but the light will not go out.

This is a hardware fault. You should take your iPhone to an Apple Store for diagnosis and replacement.
