iMac 2008 Shut Down Unexpectedly and Won't Come Back On

So last night I had just downloaded Final Cut Pro with no problems and had then downloaded some video clips to play about with in the app. When I tried to open the app, however, i had a message saying there wasn't enough space on my iMac. Everything still seemed fine, but then a few moments later my iMac shut down unexpectedly and so I turned it off in the plug and left it overnight. When I tried it again this morning it wouldn't come on. I have checked the power cable and have tried two other power cables but it still won't come on. I've tried the method where you hold down the button for 10 seconds whilst unplugged too.

Does anyone have any solutions, please?!

P.S is there any point taking it to an Apple store seeing as it's an old model and I bought it second hand? Plus my nearest Apple store is very, very far away and so I can't travel there.

Thank you in advance.

Can you give us the last four digits of the serial number so we can correctly identify your system. You'll find it on the bottom of the stand foot (use care when you put the system on its back to access it).

Also have you tried disconnecting the power cord for a good 10 minutes to see if that works. Also make sure the power strip outlet you plugged the system into is working.
