Dropped Kindle Fire and now, screen will not display
I dropped my Kindle Fire. The audio still played, but there was no pucture, just a blank screen. I turned it off, and now it will not turn back on. I do get the bell sound when I attempt to turn on the device. Sometimes the screen momentarily brightens.

its possible you broke your screen, i have little knowledge on the inner workings of the kindle. hopefully someone will have a better answer to your problem.
