HELP! UNUSUAL SOUND when I try to charge!

Hello, please i need help, my Ipod fell down since my desk, and when i try to charged it, doenst appear nothing, only the apple logo with a exclamation mark, and inside of the decive a unusual sound like CLICK CLICK, and i dont know what need to replace, if the battery, hard drive, or something else, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!
