New logic board not working, help

I recently bought a new logic keyboard for my MBP 15" Retina mid 2012 (Apple MacBook Pro Retina A1398 Logic Board i7 2.6GHz 16GB)

The problem is that either the new one or the old logic boards are not working when i install it. It is running Mavericks, but only appears the apple logo and the bar under the logo doesnt fill up all the way, it just stops at the middle and then the Mac turns off. Any help ??

Actually I think this is not a logic board issue. If it was in my shop I'd first hook it up in Target mode and see if the hard drive could be accessed for repair. Next Iwould use a drive with a known good system and and new hard drive cable.
