Doesn't start without charger, shuts down once screen shows?

Samsung Galaxy S3 (T-Mobile), doesn't start without charger. Once connected to the charger, it shows battery charging then I am able to start, though once the screen shows (with all the apps) again it shuts down.

I was able to start and keep it running with the charger prior to hard reset. I did hard reset and now it shuts down after the home screen shows up. And also, it doesn't connect to the Wi-Fi.

Options

Replace a battery at first. If can't solve the problem, i suppose you should check the motherboard.
