Why has my phone died?

after having charged my iphone to full battery, upon disconnecting the handset from the charger my computer crashed, and the the handset froze before switching itself off. i haven't been able to get it back on since..

Options

Try resetting the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button until the iPhone restarts. I would also try reconnecting the iPhone to your computer to see if it recognizes it.
