Power adapter port issue

My MacBook Air will not turn on or charge even when power adapter is attached. I have tried two different MacBook adapters with no difference. Isn't there a known issue on mid2013 models, A1466, that the power port is faulty? What would be the next step after trying two adapters and two batteries, one brand-new from iFixit?

Options

You could try swapping out the I/O board, otherwise its likely the charging logic on the main board which is having a problem. Follow this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Air 13" Mid 2013 I/O Board Replacement.

My problem remains. The light on the chargers turns green briefly, then becomes orange and stays orange no matter how long it is plugged in. I cannot power on at all. I tried resetting as suggested in other posts. How hard is it to test or change out the main board?
