Backlight works, but there is no display.

Hello,

I have an iPhone that will not display an image, but the backlight turns on. After inspecting the area around the lcd connector I determined that the L44 display filter was missing. I replaced it with one from an old iPhone 5, but nothing has changed. The phone is still turning on but not displaying an image. When it is plugged into a charger it just beeps periodically. I have tried many different LCD's so I know that is not the problem. I will include a picture of L44 that I replaced.

. This was my first time replacing something this small, so I don't know how good of a job I did. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks

After replacing a Filter you should always check if you have done a proper job with a simple multimeter. In this case connect the probes of your MM according to the picture I added. It should beep when you connect them. If they don't that means you do not have continuity and the filter mostlikely is bad or not soldered properly. 1 Filter = 2 measurements (each color represents 1 measurement)

While you at it: check the other filters too.

Why was the filter missing ? Waterdamaged board ? ripped of ? maybe there are more components missing the the lcd connector ?
