My monitor was closed shut too hard at school
My monitor comes on but when fully opened shuts off partially or all the way?
It is out of warranty and I do not have much money to fix it?

Please identify your computer from the link I am including and then go to the step by step guide. Open your computer and make sure all the connections are tight. With luck this will solve your problem. If not see if you have proper video with an external monitor. Ralph
