Mercedes 1998 300 C tire pressure monitor is flashing

Tire pressure monitor is flashing but mechanic put on computer and said they were all fine something else is malfunctioning

Answer this question I have this problem too

LC, have them really take a look at the TPMS sensors. They do run on batteries and some sensors may last as long as 10 years, while some may last only three to five years. So your '98 Mercedes is pretty much past that point.

Thank you the mechanic ran it on the computer and he said they are working fine he thought water might have gotten into the control module so he would take back panel out to check that. I don't know how water could have gotten into it he thought maybe I spilled water in trunk - no not possible so not sure what is going on

Those are really tough errors to find, specially since the OBD checks out ok. Hope they'll find it and let us know how it turns out.
