Open the bottom and take some pictures. get a schematic & boardview for 820-3115.

Measure voltage on pins 21 & 22 of the LVDS connector - do you get 0v, 12v, 18v, 25v, 30v?

Put multimeter in diode mode and swap the probes - red on ground, black on pins 21/22 of LVDS connector, and what measurement do you get?

Have you set the screen brightness to maximum using the button in the top row of the keyboard? What happens when you do? I realize that's sort of like asking whether the computer is plugged into power, but it's surprising how often the screen dimming button (next to the screen brightness button) gets pressed without people noticing it.

Assuming that a dimmed screen isn't the problem, have you tried doing an SMC reset by following the instructions on Apple's Support site? What happens when you do that?

I have reset it. Brightness keys are also working but the brightness is not increasing. I can see the brightness max on the screen
