Hey - I know this is an oldie but im just wondering something, looking at toms schematic, under the camera connector "fl58" is the part im missing - is this a transistor or a filter.?
Can i just exchange with another part labelled " fl " on the board, have lots of doner boards...to the right of it is fl12 or fl13, can i just switch with one of these - also, are they polarized.?

Liam O Connor FL58 is a 120ohm 210mA filter coil, FL12 and FL13 are both 120ohm 250mA. these parts are not polarized.They do share the same package size. It is possible that you can interchange those.
