Why won't my phone turn back on?

So for the past few days, my phone has been not properly working, whenever I try to message someone the screen either goes white or the screen gets all discolored and one time it was upside down. I've tried everything right now i took the battery out and now it won't turn back on. Please help me! this is the only way to contact some of my relatives and friends.
