Missing Home button Metal circle underneath

on this iPhone homebutton was broken under is a little metal circle

this iPhone needs home button to same model as the other one but no metal circle underneath will that affect me putting home button on it to replace please help thanks.

Yes, this small flat metal plate is needed for the Home Button to function. It is held in place by simple double sided tape, that is used throughout the iPhone. It is easy to remove (to remove use the tip of a sharp knife or the tip of a pin to pry it up) and transfer, or buy a new metal plate.
