Water damage! What to do next?
Okay I need some help guys! I dropped my phone into a puddle it was in there for maybe 5 seconds (Thank goodness for quick reactions!) I turned it off, I was at work so I couldn't dismantle it and such, so when I got home I then took out the SIM card so it could ventilate a bit better, I put it with some Silica Gel and left it for 2 days. I took it out, of course it won't turn on. I plugged it into my laptop, no reaction. I did a factory restart then the laptop recognized it as a iphone and the phone was making a binging noise and that's it, the screen is still black. I unplugged it from the laptop and it's back to being a Ibrick. I replaced the battery hoping maybe the battery was fried, but it's still doing nothing just sitting there. Now I just don't know what to do next? I want to try fixing it before I get a replacement for $300. Any advice is appreciated, thank you in advance! - Chelsea
Is this a good question?
